This engine was built by Garry Snow at Performance Marine in Kopperl, Texas. It ran consistent 4.60 passes in a 2500 lb car with a powerglide in the Texas Outlaw Pro Mod Association. At 30% O.D. it made 22 to 24lbs of boost. Low maintenance and only turned at a high of 7200 rpms and leaving the line between 4800 to 5000 rpms. Block has 64 runs and engine has 32 passes on it since being completely refreshed with new springs and lifters, bearings and rings. Motor idles at 60 psi for oil pressure. Have matched converter for this engine that stalls at 5500.
I purchased this engine in February of 2013 with plans to put in an altered and race at blown altered events. I never followed thru with those plans and have sold the altered. Numbers should be even better now that the blower has been completely refreshed and is in perfect working order.
