BBC LS7 454 One of the baddest big blocks ever produced by General Motors. It is the MK IV block 2 piece rear seal. Engine code is XCH. GM part # was 3965774 12:25-1 compression. It uses the open chamber cast iron heads. ZL1 solid lifter cam. Forged crank and rods. this engine was purchased for a project that never happened due to the failing health if a good friend. This motor and all accessories are new - never fired. It has been stored in a climate control shop for all these years. It has never been run, only oiled cylinders and turned by hand periodically. Things that have been done/added are as follows: ARP connecting rod bolts were professional installed along with 7/16 push rods and guide plates. ACCLL distributor/EDELBROCK c 427 intake manifold. GM chrome valve covers, cast crank pulley, deep water pump pull, and GM 5 blade clutch fan. New finger clutch and pressure plate throw out baron, new fork and new Lakewood blow shield. It has the long sump trap door oil pan. These are some part numbers and information: Cam Specks duration at .050 267 intake 273 exhaust. Valve lift 580/620. Crank is 5140 forged. Rods are 4340. Forged pistons carry part #3963552. Cam shaft #3959180 the same that is used in ZL1. I believe the heads are 119CC combustion chambers.
