Harley Destroyer VRXSE 2013 ManCup Champion

This is one of the quickest Destroyers in North America, especially considering the hefty pilot. I've raced this bike for a year and a half and have been through all the handling issues and made the necessary improvements to make the performance dependable and the handling predictable, safe and consistent.
Own this drag bike and there's not another Destroyer in the US that can touch it.
With a pilot tipping the scales at 240lb+ leathered up, we ran an 8.87 at 150+ at the 2013 ManCup event in VA. We also won the Manufacturer’s Cup Super Comp (8.90 Index) championship in a 69 bike field dominated by metrics. At the summer race in Indy, one of the Kawi jockeys walked by us in the staging lanes and asked if we were spraying. Nope, all motor. They couldn't believe it. Put a jockey on this beast and you're running 8.40's.
We won the AMRA Nitro Nationals VMOD Class at Rockingham in October against a well-prepared VROD running a $25K PMFR chrome moly chassis and car tire. His 60’ was 1.21 vs. our 1.35 (we had the gearing shortened up to deal with track conditions), but we reeled him in by the eighth and laid down an 8.94 to his 9.04. Bill’s bike is probably 100 lbs lighter and he’s at least 50 lbs lighter than me. I forgot to mention, we went through the traps in 4th gear and still didn't hit the limiter. That’s how much we had to calm the gearing down to get down the track. On a well-prepped track, 60’ will be under 1.30.

Gerencer power. Speaks for itself, watch the YouTube video against Billy Doherty in the Nitro Nationals final round and you'll understand. Engine has been refreshed by Gerencer and is ready to kick butt in the spring. There were no surprises in the teardown other than a blown head gasket that was my bad for failing to warm the engine adequately before getting on the throttle.
PMFR front end. Dropped 30 lbs and eliminated the Destroyer handling issues.
MTC slider clutch. Finally, level the playing field against the metric drag bikes. Easy to set up and tune. Even though it’s a $1500 upgrade, once you’ve gone to a slider, you’ll never look back.
RacePak. If you don't have it, you’re chasing your tail when it comes to tuning. If you can find one for a Destroyer, get ready to write a $3,000 check. Get data on wheel spin, drive sprocket revs, engine RPM’s, AFR, EGT, water temp, voltage and anything else you can put a sensor on.
Dedenbear delay box. If you’re running ET this is a game-changer if you’re racing metrics.
Digital Delay Shifter. Another feature the metrics have been using for years. Harley’s are starting to catch on. This one is the best, easy to program, a smart box that lets you program the number of shifts and revs for each shift point. Change shift points in seconds if you need to run different index classes or you need to make a higher/lower number.
1125R fairing. Great aero improvement, improves high speed handling.
Extended wheelie bars to improve launches.
Chrome moly lowered struts to decrease weight, lower CG, improve handling and aero.
PMFR front wheel, eliminates possible original Destroyer wheel failure.
Ceramic bearings to reduce rolling resistance.
R&D Transmission mods and upgrades.
Cut down sprockets. Numerous included for every possible ratio you can dream up.
Ballistic Lithium batteries to save weight.
This is a first class build, no short cuts or shoddy workmanship. The bike is beautiful cosmetically and all you have to do is fuel it up and go run in the eights.
