I have owned this car for about 26 years. It's an original black on black coupe and is extremely clean and well cared for. It's race ready and is a proven, sorted, and very competitive package. It has been successful at races all over the country in the past 26 years in such events as World Ford Challenge, and Fun Ford Weekend, Wild Street, Stock & Super Stock. Most recently it was the PSCA 235 Limited Summer Series Champion in 2015. It has been in numerous magazines including being featured in Car Craft in 1999 when it won the dyno competition at the Car Craft Summer Nationals. 408 Windsor, 13:1 compression, forged internals with H-Beam rods, forged crank, custom forged and coated pistons specifically setup for large amounts of nitrous. Engine was meticulously built by Denny's Racing Engines. Heads are ported Victors with titanium valves and Jesel valvetrain. 8.8 rear end with Strange 33 spline Pro Race axles, C-Clip eliminators, Pro Race lightweight Spool, laser straightened axle tubes that have been fully welded. Torque box reinforcement plates to support well over 1000 HP.
Team Z Tubular K-Member, and control arms. Fully adjustable Coil Overs on front with 90/10 front drag shocks. Wolfe Racecraft complete rear suspension with adjustable upper and lower control arms and Wolfe rear sway bar. Calvert fully adjustable rear drag shocks. Car launches straight as an arrow and gets consistent 1.3 60ft times with 235 drag radials!
Weld Draglite wheels with fresh Mickey Thompson skinny front tires, and Mickey Thompson 235 Drag Radials on the rear. Current Chassis certification good to 8.50 ET in 1/4 mile.
