For Sale: Complete Ford Race Operation
This is not a $50K factory built 7 or 8 second car for $25K. What it is, is a $25K home built low 10 second car for $12K. (actually I am not sure you could build the drive train for what I am asking for the turn key car.
Thank You. Joe Robertson, Meade, KS - 620-655-2274

This car probably has as many low/mid 10 second runs in the last 23 years as any car in the USA and is still a good runner. It has gone 9:80's at a non NHRA track on an exceptional day but usually runs 10:teens to 10:50 depending on track and weather. The reason the car still runs low 10's is because chassis will not certify below 10.00 due to tubing in the cage that is app .010 to thin. It was 8 second legal when built in late 80's but NHRA rules changed on tubing specs and now it is destined to be a 10 second bracket car(or super street) unless you want to upgrade the cage w/new tubing. Car is very consistent. Last time out(Labor Day 2013/MoKan Dragway 1/8th mile) In 6 total runs it went 6.50(4 times)
6.51 and 6.52
If I knew I was going to get to drive the car again, it probably would not be for sale but right now that is unknown so it is for sale.
