Engine Special - Chevy S/B 350-360 Late Model Asphalt-Open Spec Iron Head Engine.

Legal and popular in the Northeast NASCAR Late Model Division, this power plant is hard accelerating and out powers the GM/Ford/Chrysler Factory Crate Engines hands down. Where there’s an rpm rule this engines peak power is 495 HP @ 6,300 and pulls hard on the track to 7,300 and produces 482+ ftlbs torque @ 4,300. This engine runs on 110 octane racing gas only.

Induction rules stipulate Edelbrock 2101 Performer Intake with a Holley 650 cfm Carburetor and a 1” spacer. Engine comes with GM Bowtie cylinder heads and intake manifold that are un-ported and yield a 10.8 CR. Camshaft rules stipulate mechanical flat tappet camshaft. Cylinder heads and intakes are hand selected for peak engine performance.

The difference, these engines make more power per CFM of air entering the engine than comparable engines. RCS has perfected these engines to produce the highest torque and Hp output possible with a drivable wide power band. Axle gear selection is not that critical on the power curve due to the higher engine torque and hard acceleration the engine creates.

The last two customers trying this engine combination went from average 10th or less place cars to the front of the pack to top five, running with and competing against track champions.

These engines are new complete ready to run. To install all you need is a 12v source and a fuel line. Engine includes Carb to Pan and a 5 stage Dry Sump oiling system, tank not included. This engine supports the best parts and engineering money can buy for the application when applicable.
