This beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Convertible Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1967 was the year that GM finally stepped up to the plate and had a car that would compete with Fordâ??s highly successful Mustang. There was only one problem, by 1967 Ford had already sold close to 1.5 million Mustangs so to say GM had an uphill battle would be an understatement. They would prevail however and become one of GMâ??s shining achievements and an overall American icon. This 67 has a rebuilt title as it should considering everything on this car has been rebuilt. The exterior of the car looks great and has been done in that classic red with black racing stripes. The cowl induction hood is a great addition and is correct to the year. With matching front and rear spoilers the car looks like itâ??s ready to go sitting there. Of course this is a convertible so hopefully the top will never be seen and it stays tucked away nicely where it belongs. However if the top must come out thatâ??s ok since the black looks great especially against the red paint. The interior compliments the exterior with its black buckets seats upfront feeling like they have not even been broken in yet. Under the hood is the original 327 that has been gone through and sounds great thanks to the full length headers and true dual exhaust. The Edelbrock intake with its matching carb feeds this small block just the right amount fuel. The tubular style control arms upfront give the car a much better feel in the corners. The aftermarket upgraded power disc brakes bring everything to dead stop in the blink of an eye. If you have been thinking of getting a classic that is guaranteed to make people stare and will always be considered and icon of the 60â??s and just America in general this Convertible is right down your alley. Options on this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro include; Power Brakes, Am Radio, Manual Convertible, Vinyl Interior, and Raised White Letter Radial Tires on Rally Wheels.
