For Sale: 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

These classics do nothing but continue to be popular and accrue value over time. This 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible is a super sport tribute that has a ton to offer. It is a very nicely built car with top shelf components used throughout. The car is coated in an Red paint that is nicely accented with the dual Black racing stripes. All of the chrome and stainless trim is in good condition and all of it is cleanly mounted in place. The SS emblems are all there and properly laid out where they would have been from the factory. The black convertible top is power assisted and operates without any issues. The car comes with a matching black boot for the top so you still have that clean look when the top is down. Under the hood of this iconic muscle car is a ZZ430 350 motor that was very well done. It runs very smoothly and has plenty of torque. It is topped with a speed demon Barry Grant 725cfm carburetor and is mated to a Muncie 220 4 speed transmission. Power is then sent back through the drive shaft to the Eaton positrac 12 bolt rear end with 3:23 gears. The car rolls down the road very comfortably and cruising at 70 mph tachs around 2500 rpms. It has a nice rumble provided via the Hooker headers and dual exhaust system. Disc brakes were added up front and this classic has plenty of stopping power. The suspension system was all gone through and tuned for not only a smooth ride but the perfect stance.

The interior is finished out in Black and the upholstery work has a fresh look. The dual high back bucket seats are very comfortable and sit nicely in place to each side of the original style center console. The entire interior was finished out with the stock style components and has that original look. The original Chevrolet AM/FM/Cassette player is mounted to the dash and is combined with a hidden 10 disc CD changer.
