Up for sale we have a 1967 Chevy Nova Super Sport. This is a true SS with the 118 Vin. It's a fresh build that's done in the factory Deepwater Blue with the Deluxe Interior, vintage AC, and upgraded engine and trans. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Nova. The body is covered in the Deepwater Blue paint which is the correct color for this car. It's done the base coat clear with a deep rich shine that is smooth to the touch. The paint covers an arrow straight body that has good fit of all its panels. When you look at the bumpers they are either new or have been rechromed. The rest of the chrome all looks like new. As for the side trim and trim around the glass it appears to have been polished. All the glass in is in great shape with new seals around the windshield and back glass. The weather stripping around the doors and trunk all looks to be new as well. On the trunk it has the hard to find SS Trim. To finish off the exterior this Nova is sitting on a set of 18" and 20" American Wheels with new tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the SS. On the inside it's done in the Deluxe Black with the White inlay. It has the correct buckets and console with the T shifter. A very nice job was done fitting the vintage Air with the vents under the dash so not to cut the dash. The radio has been upgraded to a Pioneer unit. This Nova also retains the factory style seat belts. Inside the trunk everything appears solid and is well detailed.
Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it's powered by a 350 V8 that's mated to a 700R Trans. Then engine is dressed with an Aluminum intake with a Holley Carb, Chrome Breather, Valve Covers, Pulleys, and Alternator. To keep it cool it has an Aluminum Radiator. The exhaust flows through manifolds with dual flows. The inner fenders and firewall have been painted to match the car. The vintage A/C was done correct with nice fit of the Compressor and Lines. This is a Power Steering and Power Brake car with Disc Up front. Looking under this ride the floors are solid and in good shape. Also, you'll see that a new fuel tank was installed.
