All Rock Batteries feature absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery technology. AGM technology was originally developed in 1985 for military aircraft usage where, just like in racing, a battery"s power, weight, safety and reliability are paramount considerations. Now this technology has been incorporated into the Rock line of maintenance-free, deep cycle racing batteries. Rock Batteries are designed to provide the increased power necessary for todays racing electronics and engine starting requirements.

The Rock Battery Charger Recharges our batteries in less than 15 minutes with average voltage usage under racing conditions. Solid state LED indicators show the current flow and reads READY when charged.
The technology that makes up Rock Batteries is simple. Each cell is sealed with pressure relief valves that provide a positive pressure within the battery. The battery"s plates are separated with a micro-fibrous silica glass mat (AGM) that consists of glass fibers of varying lengths and diameters. The fibers provide good wicking and promote retention of electrolyte. The electrolyte is absorbed and held in place by a capillary action between the fluid and the glass fibers. This form of construction technology makes Rock Batteries particularly resistant to failure from tire-shake.
