I would like to sell my nostalgia altered. I have put 10 runs on this car since total rebuild. New chromoly cage (18.75")to fit tall driver. I'm 6'5" 250 lbs, and I fit perfectly.
Hard Tail. All rear end components are new from Strange; Nodular Iron third member, 35 spline axles, spool, aluminum bearing support, and 4:30 gears. New Wilwood dual caliper per wheel disc brakes. One pair is operated with a foot pedal, and the other pair operated with a hand brake. Separate Wilwood master cylinders.
Stock case Powerglide, with trans brake. It has been rebuilt with all of the good stuff, by Trundle Transmissions. Flywheel and case shields. Quarter Stick shifter. Moroso trans cooler.
Built by Yeoman Race Engines. 383 sbc, 4 bolt main, 6" H beam rods, and flat top pistons. Roller cam. CNC ported AFR aluminum heads. Pro Pan with diaper. Enderle stack fuel injection. Kinsler 3.5 gal tank and filter (after pump). Hilborn filter (before pump). Vertex magento. Zoomie headers.
Current 7.50 NHRA certification. 120" wheel base, with torsion bar front end. New Strange steering box and quick release. New S&W wheel. Centerline Auto Drag wheels with satin finish. New Hoosier front tires, with no runs. New paint on chassis and body. New chrome on all steering. New king pins, bushings, and front wheel bearings. All lettering is vinyl and can be removed. Re-certified DJ cam lock belts, with aluminum covering. New aluminum throughout. Old school pleated interior. Steel braided lines on all applications. Stroud fire system. The pictures show an older Deist chute bag. This does not come with car, but I have a brand new aluminized Deist chute bag that will come with it. Charging lugs and disconnect. Optima battery.
This car has went 9.70 @ 137 in the 1/4 mile, effortlessly. I am still learning how to tune the stack injection. I believe it has plenty more left in it. Presently the car has no cooling previsions. I wanted a more nostalgic look. Someone could install a cooling system on it if they wanted too. I still have the radiator that fits under the grill shell from when I originally purchased the car.
