For Sale: GORGEOUS 67 Olds Toronado caged+full interior
Car has received extensive attention recently including brand new master cylinder, brake booster, brake discs, brake calipers, Timken front wheelbearings and seals, new Porterfield custom performance brake pads, rear shoes and wheel cylinders. HEI Distributer with cap, rotor, wires, filters and oil change, and water pump, belts, coolant lines, extra trans cooler added, fuel lines replaced front to back, rebuilt carb... Also a new flex fan was recently installed. This thing has had a lot of mechanical work and drives excellently, better than a 4400lb FWD racecar should on a racetrack.
Brand new custom 6-point roll cage also installed using 1.75" x .120" DOM tubing. However, the rollcage was tastefully installed so as to allow the complete and full use of the original interior. The only "struggle" is the second door bar on the driver's side makes it easier to get in on the passenger's side for those who are more "full figured" than average. But a fabulous tilt and telescoping steering column helps with that!
There's also a safety kill switch installed.
If you don't want to go racing, this car could very easily be returned to regular street use and the cage easily cut out off of the baseplates that carpeting would cover back up and nobody would know. Nothing was hacked, nothing was butchered. It's all there. I did remove the air conditioning pump, but it is still included with the sale.
Seriously, drive it as-is. Head to DMV to renew reg and then drive her home, she's that ready to run. Unless it's at night and you need the headlights up-- I just remembered, we didn't even check those yet. And, well, we'll need to put the stock tank back in it (I'm keeping the fuel cell unless you want to fork over a bunch extra for the 22 gal Fuel Safe cell in the trunk) but that is a 30 minute (or less) job. Bring it to cruise nights. Bring it to Barona drags. Throw a fire system in it and race in in VARA or HSR or... 24 Hours of LeMons! Your choice. You won't find a better deal on a running, driving 1967 Toronado with a completely new Disc Brake brake system installed. Oh, tires are still ok, too. Selling for less than I have invested in it. $2600 and the price is absolutely 100% firm. Not negotiable unless you want to pay more. Harness is included but Race Seat and fuel cell are not.
