I tried adding more pictures to my photo album, but it keeps locking up my computer. The car is also listed on Cleveland Craigslist with lots of pictures.

I do not want to trade for your car, so please don't send them to me. Thanks

I am selling my 1969 Cadillac Calais that has been in our family since it was new. My grandparents owned it for about 15 years, my dad had it for about 15 years, and now I've had it that long too. A Calais is just a stripped down Coupe DeVille. This is one of the most rare Cadillacs with about 2000 of them made in 1969. From the factory it has no A/C (pull vents), AM radio, manual bench seat, no passengers mirror, and manual locks. Not to mention it's a hard top, not a vinyl top. The car has about 82k miles on it.

Since I received it, I installed a 500 cu in Cadillac motor from a 1975 Eldorado and over the course of years have been updating the drivetrain to make the car fast and reliable. The motor is a stock rotating assembly, with CNC ported heads and bigger valves. It has an aftermarket camshaft and shaft rocker assembly, with an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and Sanderson headers. It is an HEI distributor with an aftermarket coil, and it has a new Holley Street Avenger 870 carburetor with an electric choke. It has a full 3" exhaust with an X-pipe.
It has a newer aluminum radiator, water pump, and fan clutch so it runs cool.

There is a TCI turbo 400 transmission that is about three years old, but has probably less than 2500 miles on it. It has a 3000 stall TCI converter too. I installed a custom Ford 9" rearend with a 3.50 gear and a Detroit locker. It has a custom HD driveshaft.

The interior is pretty much completely stock except for a couple small gauges and is in very nice condition. The exterior is also very nice and most of the paint is original with only a couple small areas that were spotted in, but no paint work has been done since the 70's.

This car runs as good as it looks. You can cruise it or drag it and it will hold up. The car will run 13.6s in the 1/4 mile at 99mph, and still runs on 92 octane.

Overall this thing is NICE and turns heads and creates conversations anywhere I go. It sounds great, runs great, but it is an OLD car. It squeaks, it leaks, and does have light dings, scratches, etc, so please don't expect a show car. It does look as good as in the pictures though.

Here's a couple videos of the car in action last fall, posted by someone I never met before:

Please call or text any questions you might have. Please be serious though. If I don't answer, please leave a message and I'll call you back. No low ballers here as I don't need to sell this car. I don't need help selling it either. You can email too. This will be a cash sale, so please no bank checks, certified checks, etc.

Thanks for looking.
