Exterior: The Anglia has a hand-laid glass body, believed to be crafted by Downs and is mini-tubbed. The multi-stage Red finish is flawless and is complimented by just the right amount of tasteful graphics and pinstriping. The fit and finish of the hood grille, suicide doors, and trunk is exact with uniform spacing throughout. All of the custom polished billet and stainless hood support pieces, door strikers and latches, etc. are of the highest quality. The "suicide" doors are equipped with electronic poppers and the trunk opens with a hidden cable.
Interior: The painted interior surfaces of this Anglia are finished in the same brilliant red of the exterior with attention to detail throughout. The photos show the comfortable red and black vinyl matching racing-type seats. However, a second set of custom seats wrapped in luxurious blood red leather are also included with the car. The door panels and headliner are expertly sculpted and flow nicely with the theme of the Anglia. A full set of Auto Meter gauges are inset into the smoothed dash. A complete Ron Francis wiring harness handles the electrical chores. The chrome tilt steering column is topped by a leather-wrapped Billet Specialties steering wheel. Entertainment for the road is provided by a high-end Sony stereo system. Other conveniences include a Vintage Air "Monster" High Capacity Trunk Mount AC System, Ball's Rod and Custom Power Windows system, and Street Works keyless remote door poppers and locks.
Drivetrain: The Anglia is powered by a NEW Chevy ZZ4 350 crate motor with 375 hp and 405 lb-ft. of torque. The high-flow aluminum heads feature 1.94/1.50-inch valves. The block has four-bolt mains, forged steel crank, high-silicon pistons, and a hydraulic roller cam. Topping the engine is a Holley four barrel carb, aluminum intake, and HEI distributor. Exhaust is handled by Jet Hot ceramic coated Hooker Headers and a complete 2 1/2 in. Hooker Premium Stainless Steel Exhaust System. The ZZ4 is backed by a GM TH350 transmission with a mild to moderate shift kit. A Ford 9” differential with 3.23 gears, which make for nice highway cruising, brings up the rear. The chassis is a custom-built Art Morrison unit with a tri-angulated 4-bar setup, fully adjustable coil over shocks, manual rack steering, and front disc brakes.
